All marketing has to have a structure to support it. The planning stages of any business should include a healthy dose of advertising strategies. Many business owners will rely on one or two forms of lead generation and miss the best opportunities by keeping there focus to narrow. If you are going to advertise on the internet, there are a few bases you must cover in order to make an impact on your market.

Here are key pieces to building your own marketing empire.

Home- You must have a home base of some kind on the internet. Many people will pay a lot of money to have a website built. These are usually stagnant and nothing more than an electronic post card. Without adding content and attracting viewers, you will get nowhere with this strategy. Many of us are now using the WordPress Blogs to showcase out business and interface with our customers. This platform is the best when it comes to being informative and flexible. There are many things that this one system will handle and it is simple to manage.

Social Media Majors- Once you have a home, you will want to make sure the rest of the world is aware of it. There is no better, and cheaper, way to do this that the social media sites. Facebook, Google Plus 1, YouTube, and Linked-In are all great examples of these. Each is used in a slightly different way with the same result; you get your story told to a lot of people.

Social Media Support- There are many other sites that are social in nature and can be used to augment this process. Tumbler, Pinterest, and Read-It are all good examples of this technology. Using media in your posts will allow you to spread this information out to these sites and direct traffic back to your home base. Video and Pictures tend to attract attention on these with the promise of more information back on your site.

The proper use of content can be the best way to inform your customers about your industry and to build trust at the same time. Taking the time to build and use your marketing empire will pay off in many more, better qualified customers. A steady stream of quality content is just what you need to see results from your marketing.
